"If I Were the Mayor of Macon" Book-writing Contest

To help get Bibb County school children excited about the November 2003 mayoral election, Kids Voting Georgia Bibb County and ebooksbykids.com sponsored a book-writing contest entitled “If I Were the Mayor of Macon”. This contest was open to all Bibb County’s Kindergarten through fifth graders. Eight finalists were chosen and their books appeared on the ebooksbykids.com web page where the public had an opportunity to voted for the book they felt was the best.
